Reinforcing the US blockade of Cuba

On 1 May the governor of Florida, Rick Scott, took a new step in reinforcing the US blockade of Cuba by signing a bill that prevents companies that do business with Cuba from having access to public funds.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, the Florida Chamber of Commerce last month passed a resolution calling on the governor to veto the bill, saying it was unconstitutional.
Curiously, this happened just after a deliberate fire destroyed the offices of Airline Brokers, one of the eight companies that charter flights to Cuba, and also coinciding with the first anniversary of the death of the anti-Cuban terrorist Orlando Bosch, responsible for the bombing of a Cubana Airlines plane in 1976 and later pardoned by President George Bush (senior)—and an announcement by his widow that the date was going to be marked with a significant event.
